EPI - Equipement

The Jerems system is dedicated to safety for work in height. It is composed of sliding equipment on a profile fixed at the support to climb.
Contrary to the whole of the existing safety devices for which it is the fall of the operator who starts safety, Jerem' s anticipates while being made safe initially and while progressing then.
The equipment Jerems is composed of two handles connected by a longe fixed on the harness of the operator at the level of his sternum. Each handle is connected by an adjustable rope in length to a footboard evolving on a common slide.
The principle of the handles is the self-locking: the operator cannot free a handle as long as it did not relieve the weight which it exerts on the footboard connected to the handle.
With the rise as with the descent, if it relieved the weight well on one of the footboards, the operator exerts on the corresponding handle a simple push which allows the displacement of the system.
The profile on which the handles of the system Jerems slide is fixed in a permanent way on the wall of the support to climb. Very discrete, this profile adapts to any structure (frontage, post, wind mill), whatever is the height.
This profile comprises two rails of progression connected by a veil.
JEREMS has been approved under standards EN353-1 by APAVE , as an anti fall mortal on stiff assurage.
EPI - Security

Jerems prohibits an accidental descent. The two handles cannot in no case to be released simultaneously. Indeed, the release of the handle is related to the relief of the corresponding footboard. However it is impossible to relieve the two footboards simultaneously !

EPI - Prohibition of access

Jerems prohibited to 100 % the access to the site equipped, handles being removable by a simple handling.Without handles, there remains only one smooth rail and the site is inert
Other classics systems are easily avoided
EPI - Rest

Jerems makes it possible to the user to at will carry out stages of rest.
EPI - Ergonomics & Comfort

Jerems makes it possible to the user to choose the width of its movements according to its possibilities. It is not tributary any more of levels with fixed step. Its efforts are optimized because they are distributed according to its morphology.
The footboards have a non-skid surface and a surface of rest for the plant of the feet. This avoids the chisel effect of the existing scales.
